Live music and a parade will be part of Armed Forces Day celebrations in a Wolverhampton park.

The free event in West Park on 27 June will also include motorcycle displays, a shooting range and fairground rides.

The city's mayor Paul Singh said the day was "a valuable opportunity to come together as a city and acknowledge the commitment, bravery and service of our Armed Forces personnel, both past and present".

The event is due to take place between midday and 16:00 BST, with the parade held at 13:00 BST.

City of Wolverhampton Council said it would include activities for people of all ages and would also be a chance for people "to show their appreciation" for the armed forces.
