Girl, 8, returns with her street food festival
Woo_reviewsAn eight-year-old girl who loves food has organised her second street food festival to celebrate local vendors and raise funds for charity.
Woo, from Northampton, is the brains behind Woo Fest 2.0, which will take place at Pitsford Quarry between 11:00 and 15:00 BST on Monday.
The schoolgirl is known as "Woo_reviews" on social media where she comments on the places she has visited and what she has eaten.
She decided the event should return after about 600 people attended last year and more than £2,000 was raised for the Northampton charity The Lewis Foundation.
Entry to the event is free, but the food is not.
Woo_reviewsWoo said: "I've always loved food, but I probably started actually thinking about it when I was like four or five."
She now posts about her adventures on Instagram and TikTok.
One of her ideas is to challenge restaurants and cafes to make their own version of a supermarket meal deal.
One video of a chicken, bacon and stuffing sandwich being made at a cafe in Kettering gained more than 528,000 views on TikTok.
SebHer dad Lee said she had been involved in all aspects of the event and was "very picky" with the banners as well as having her say on which vendors should attend.
Woo said the day was to "celebrate Northampton, because all of the vendors are from Northampton, and local areas, and they may have started out from a small business, but they can grow into a huge thing".
The event will also have stalls, live music, as well as an array of food including crepes, brownies, waffles, Indian food and barbecue items to buy.
