Ma France - Tip 24 - News & views and Final test
Bonjour !
Tip 24 :
Become opinionated! Get used to giving your views on issues; that way you'll be ready to share them with people you meet in France. Whenever you hear, see or read the news headlines, express your reaction to each story in French: je pense que c'est ridicule, I think it's ridiculous; je crois que c'est très triste, I think it's very sad; à mon avis, c'est insupportable, in my opinion, it's intolerable!
Local newspapers in France are a valuable source of information for visitors, so don't forget to buy one regularly. Each region has a daily local paper similar to Le Dauphiné Libéré and in it you'll find everything from what's on at the cinema to contact details of local doctors, dentists and the Pharmacie de garde, the out-of-hours chemist.
