Ma France - Tips 2 & 3 - Directions and Languages

Bonjour et félicitations !

Congratulations on completing the Preview unit. Now you can move on to the next two stages, Directions and Languages.

  • Tip 2 :

Unit 2 Practise the French directions when you are out and about. Whether driving, walking or on public transport, imagine you are describing the route to a French visitor - Vous continuez tout droit, vous tournez à gauche et c’est là, juste en face.

  • Tip 3 :

Unit 3 When you are out and about you can try out your spelling, too. Road signs, car number plates and advertising billboards all give ample scope for practice.

  • If you’d like to work on your French with a friend, then check out the Tutors’ section. In Ma France en classe you’ll find a range of suggestions for how to practise with a partner or with a group.

  • Check out the mini lessons on 'How not to get lost' and 'Names and how to spell them'. They last 7 minutes and are very good to use as revision.

  • Don’t forget to sign in to My Progress to keep a record of your progress through the course.
