Ma France - Tips 21 & 22 - Hotel requests and DIY
Bonjour !
Tip 22 :
Most of us have left something behind at some stage. Imagine a phone call to the hotel to ask if they've found your belongings. Make a list of your "lost property" and think about how you would describe the items. Don't forget to ask very politely, for example, Est-ce que vous pourriez m'aider ? Could you help me? Serait-il possible de me l'envoyer ? Would it be possible to send it to me?
Tip 23 :
Vous souhaitez faire des travaux ? Is there work you'd like to do on the house? On your trip to France, call in at one of the DIY stores and pick up their catalogue. You'll find it a tremendous source of vocabulary. If you haven't a trip planned, just do an online search for bricolage. You'll be amazed at how much you find and you might come across Bob le bricoleur.
