Ma France - Tips 8 & 9 - Adventure sports and Wine talk

Bonjour !

In the next two units you will find out more about a couple of popular holiday and leisure activities. You’ll discover a new sport, Accrobranches, and do some wine tasting. This could be the start of a new hobby...

  • Tip 8 :

Unit 8 Thinking of all the verbs you know, why not make a list of instructions you can give with them, using the vous form of the verb? Here's a start: allez, go; suivez, follow; continuez, carry on; choisissez, choose etc. Then make an appropriate instruction with each one, such as suivez la route, or choisissez le meilleur vin.

  • Tip 9 :

Unit 9Faites une dégustation, do a wine tasting at home. Take a couple of similar wines. Taste each one in turn and use the descriptive expressions you have learned to compare the two wines. For example, Celui-ci est plus sec. Celui-là est plus doux. It's a very enjoyable way to celebrate your progress! Bonne dégustation !
