Luke Douglas netted St Mirren's third

Jalmaro Calvin and Luke Douglas scored their first St Mirren goals as the holders maintained their 100% record in Premier Sports Cup Group C with a comfortable win away to Cove Rangers.

Roland Idowu converted a penalty to put the visitors in front after Killian Phillips had been fouled.

Samuel Ramos converted Killian Phillips' cross for the visitors' second before half-time.

Seventeen-year-old Douglas added St Mirren's third - his first senior goal - following Carrick McEvoy's pass and new striker Calvin made it four late on.

Also in Group C, East Kilbride beat Dumbarton 5-3 to join St Mirren on six points, though Kilby have played three group fixtures.

Dunfermline and Cove, both on two games, have three points each while the Sons are yet to register a point after three matches.
