Tonight will be mostly clear and dry on the mainland, with patches of cloud and light showers to the far west. On the Isles, it will be cloudy with some showers, particularly towards dawn.

Sunday

Tomorrow, the mainland will turn cloudy, with some spells of rain and showers moving into northern areas later. The Isles will see extensive cloud and intermittent light rain.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Monday will see cloudy conditions on the mainland with spells of rain moving from the north-east. Mostly dry with some sunny spells on the Isles, mainly in Shetland. Tuesday will be a dry day throughout, with sunny spells on the mainland but areas of low cloud on the Isles. Generally cloudy on the mainland on Wednesday, but brighter on the Isles. A dry day for all.
