Tonight, it will be cloudy and further spells of rain will push into the mainland and Orkney. These may fall wintry over the hills. Turning gradually dry on Shetland with clear spells developing.

Monday

Tomorrow, the mainland will stay cloudy with patchy rain and showers, falling locally heavy in the west. Any early cloud and rain clearing on Orkney, leaving the Isles dry with sunny spells.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday

Tuesday will be a largely dry day, with sunny spells on the mainland but areas of low cloud on the Isles. Generally cloudy on the mainland on Wednesday, but brighter on the Isles. A dry day for all. Trending milder on Thursday. It will stay dry and settled, and it will continue to be partly cloudy.
