Little change into tonight, as it will be mainly cloudy with showers sweeping in at times from the west, though the north-eastern mainland will be a little drier with some clearer breaks.

Tuesday

Tomorrow, after a drier start, a band of showery rain will move in from the north-west, heavy in places. It will clear later in the afternoon to leave sunshine and just the odd shower.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Wednesday will be dry with variable cloud for most, but the southern mainland may see some rain throughout. Rain looks to sweep across the Isles on Thursday, clearing to sunshine, but the mainland will be largely dry with sunshine. Friday should see some showers on the Isles and western mainland, but staying drier with sunshine elsewhere.
