Today will see areas of cloud lingering for far northern parts with a few light and scattered showers around. Elsewhere, it will be dry with sunny spells expected.

Tonight

Tonight, cloud will gradually thicken over the east, with scattered light showers. Drier and clearer across western areas, with just some patchy cloud around. Some patchy fog forming in places.

Tuesday

Tomorrow, it will be cloudy across the east, and cloud will spread in across southern areas too. A few showers will linger through the day in the east. Staying dry with sunshine for the north-west.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

High pressure will remain overhead through the end of the week. All three days should be largely dry and settled, with areas of thick low cloud around but also some sunny breaks. The mornings will see some patches of mist and fog too. Just the small chance of a light shower along northern and eastern coasts.
