Relegated Brackley finally ended a 14-game winless streak under manager Andy Whing as they defeated Aldershot.
It was Brackley's final home match before exiting the National League and they finally gave their fans something to cheer, despite a late scare.
The Saints took the lead after just seven minutes when Morgan Roberts took aim from outside the box and had enough to beat Coniah Boyce-Clarke.
There were chances at both ends before a late finish from Connor Hall, giving the hosts enough leeway to survive Matthew Penney's long-range effort in the seventh minute of injury time.
