On Tuesday, cloud and rain will push into the mainland and Orkney during the morning, reaching Shetland in the afternoon, while it becomes mostly dry with sunny spells elsewhere. Wednesday is expected to be mostly dry with sunny spells across the Isles, but the mainland may see a few afternoon showers. Thursday looks more unsettled, with a growing risk of rain and showers.
