Boreham Wood won 2-0 at Sutton to move 10 points clear at the top of the National League and extend their unbeaten start to the season to 13 matches.
Luke Garrard's side made it six straight wins thanks to second-half goals from defender Chris Bush and forward Danny Cashman, who were also both on target in last weekend's 3-1 home win over Altrincham.
Sutton failed to cash in on a dominant start, squandering several decent openings as the first half ended goalless.
Bush headed home Zak Brunt's cross to break the deadlock in the 62nd minute and Cashman stepped off the bench to seal all three points for the visitors with 14 minutes remaining.
