You never really felt convinced throughout the game that United would score. That's going to be a problem and it's a problem that needs fixed.

You'd be more concerned if you weren't creating opportunities, they are, but at the end of the day somebody has to put the ball in the back of the net.

Three consecutive games without scoring and not keeping clean sheets either.

I wouldn't have said that was a brilliant Dundee performance but they managed the game better than United.

United have conceded 10 goals in three games without scoring.

Jim Goodwin might be regretting those six changes to his starting line-up since his team certainly looked more fluid and threatening in last weekend's cup defeat to Celtic.

Dundee have now won three of their past four visits to Tannadice.

Captain Simon Murray was out on the pitch celebrating with his team-mates at the end.

I thought United started the game really well and dominated possession but Dundee came right back into it.

That first goal by Drey Wright was top quality, the second one was a little bit of good fortune, but deserved.

United then threw everything at Dundee but the two centre-backs were outstanding. Generally, as a team, they defended well.

Steven Pressley putting on two strikers towards the end was a brave decision and it worked out for him.

Tam: Good win for Dundee. You have to worry about Utd and relegation.

Findlay: Heading straight for the lower division. A new manager is a must. Pathetic.

Alex: Goodwin's position isn't getting any better. Three seasons of rebuilding just isn't working and instead of improving, it seems to be on a slide downwards.

Dundee join Celtic and St Mirren on six points at the top of the Scottish Premiership, although they have played one more game than the other two.

United remain 11th on one point from their three games.

The noisy away fans are chanting 'There is only one team in Dundee' as swathes of the home support file out of Tannadice.

As four minutes of stoppage-time are signalled, Owen Goodman comes for a loose ball inside his penalty box and doesn't get there.

A minor melee ensues before Dundee clear.

Owen Goodman punches the corner away and Daniel Bennie zips a shot narrowly wide from the edge of the penalty box.

Brad Halliday is on to help Dundee shore up the points.

As we reach minute 90, United earn a corner.

What can they do with this?

Ethan Hamilton is almost tugging Dylan Tait's shirt off and the United skipper reacts angrily.

Both are cautioned.

Now Dundee break away and Bradley Fink twists one way then another before he's tripped by Vicko Sevelj at the edge of the D on the penalty area.

Joe Westley fires the free-kick over the top. Not too far away...

Five minutes of the 90 remaining. United are piling forward, but Dundee are holding firm, getting bodies in the way.

Dundee boss Steven Pressley has the luxury of giving his two new frontmen, Bobby Wales and Bradley Fink, a run out for the remainder of the game.

He will be hoping the duo can give his side some real firepower over the coming weeks and months.

Another change in attack for the visitors as Bobby Wales makes his debut from the bench, taking over from Alan Forest for the final 10 minutes plus change.

Owen Bevan absolutely wipes out Zac Sapsford near the touchline.

Zero attempt to play the ball from the scorer of Dundee's second goal.

This gull has snaffled up a discarded pie crust and doesn't look in the mood to give it up.

That's a midfield challenge a few would shirk...

For all their pressure, United are not getting clear cut opportunities, that's got to be a worry.

They've got four attacking players on the pitch now and they're getting bodies forward, they're just missing that wee bit of quality in the final third.

Pan Camara rumbles his way forward with purpose and lays the ball off to Zac Sapsford.

The Australian takes a bad first touch though, and then sliding Dundee defender Ryan Astley gets a slight touch on the shot to send it wide of the target.
