Canada's Peel Regional Police Pipe Band hails from Brampton, Ontario, and was formed in 1976 proudly representing the Peel Regional Police Service and Peel Region throughout the province of Ontario and beyond. The band wears the Red MacPherson tartan and a distinctive black and white diced Glengarry, in keeping with long-standing police and military pipe band traditions.

2011 marks the 35th Anniversary of the Band. Under the direction of Pipe Major John Cairns and Lead Drummer Graham Brown, the band arrives in Scotland for the Worlds following their second consecutive North American Championship, won at Maxville Ontario on July 30th of this year.
