Ma France - Email 3 - Shopping and Work

Bonjour !

Now you’ve completed Units 2 and 3 you’re ready to embark on the next two stages. They cover language we use on a daily basis and you’re sure to find them helpful.

  • Unit 4 In Unit 4, Shopping, you’ll learn expressions such as une botte, a bunch, une tranche, a slice, un morceau, a piece and other phrases to help you specify quantities, as well as hearing questions the assistants often ask. Ce sera tout ? Will that be all?

  • Unit 5 In Unit 5, Work, you’ll find out how to describe your own job and how long you’ve been doing it: je suis moniteur depuis 7 ans, I’ve been a ski instructor for 7 years. You’ll hear about other people who work behind the scenes in the ski resorts and you’ll solve the mystery of what instructors do in the summer!

  • Get the learning tips for both units "Shopping" and "Work"

  • Next week we'll be back with more tips. We hope you'll find Ma France useful and entertaining.

    Bonne continuation !
