Ma France - Email 3 - Shopping and Work
Bonjour !
Now you’ve completed Units 2 and 3 you’re ready to embark on the next two stages. They cover language we use on a daily basis and you’re sure to find them helpful.
In Unit 4, Shopping, you’ll learn expressions such as une botte, a bunch, une tranche, a slice, un morceau, a piece and other phrases to help you specify quantities, as well as hearing questions the assistants often ask. Ce sera tout ? Will that be all?
In Unit 5, Work, you’ll find out how to describe your own job and how long you’ve been doing it: je suis moniteur depuis 7 ans, I’ve been a ski instructor for 7 years. You’ll hear about other people who work behind the scenes in the ski resorts and you’ll solve the mystery of what instructors do in the summer! Next week we'll be back with more tips. We hope you'll find Ma France useful and entertaining.
Bonne continuation !
