Look Around YouYour Vision of 2000 Maestro-matic 2000
Look Around You People

Maestro-matic 2000 - by Halson Hoek. By the year 2000 people will only have to work one hour a week, so we'll have a lot more leisure time on our hands. Of course that means more time to impress friends at parties with our piano-playing skills. The Maestro-matic 2000 does away with boring old fashioned music lessons once and for all. The cartridge-based music unit transforms pre-programmed notes into 240V electric shock pulses that feed directly into the sturdy metal gauntlets through a 12" uninsulated cable. By wearing the gauntlets, the electrical information causes the user's wrists and fingers to twitch involuntarily and automatically play the piano like a professional. It's an ideal gadget for the budding Bach or Van Gogh in all of us. The Maestro-matic 2000 comes supplied with a pair of giant white cotton gloves to discreetly conceal the gauntlets, and 2 music cartridges - Chopin's Prelude In C Sharp Minor, Op. 45 and Honky Cat.
