Making a splash for Children in Need

BBC Radio Newcastle's Jonathan Miles needs your help to decide what to do for Children in Need.

Jonathan Miles had a taster of life on the open waves at the Sunderland Marine Activities Centre but now wants to do something different for Children in Need actually in the water... but he needs your help.

Starting blocks at the Aquatic Centre

On your marks...

The location? The challenge will take place at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre.

The challenge? We want your ideas! (Submit your ideas by using the form at the bottom of this page)

We will then unveil which challenge Jonathan has to do on Tuesday 4 November, so make sure to listen to the mid-morning show from 10am.

Jonathan will then have less than two weeks to prepare (and find a new swimming costume!) before taking the plunge on Friday 14 November, the day of Children in Need.

To get your creative juices flowing, you can look back on Jonathan's previous challenges set by Carol Malia including packing fish, sailing on the Wear and presenting Look North:
