Pudsey to Sunderland swimming challenge

Pudsey is swimming 100 miles and he needs help. Well, wouldn't you? Point him in the right direction and raise money for Children in Need at the same time...just follow the instructions.

Help Pudsey swim from his home in West Yorkshire to Sunderland Aquatic Centre.

Pudsey is swimming along the Bearlystrait Canal - and it's 100 miles long!

Pudsey needs a guide as his BPS (Bear Positioning System) has failed. Help to guide him through the maze of the Bairlystrait Canal by swimming a minimum of 25m yourself and raising money for BBC Children in Need.

To take part in the Pudsey swimathon you need to download a sponsor form:

When you receive your sponsor form you need to collect as much sponsor money as you possibly can.

Then go along to your local pool and swim the distance that you stated on the form.

Please ensure that you only swim a distance you are comfortable with.

Some local swimming pools have agreed to offer a free swim if you raise a minimum of £25 in sponsor money for BBC Children in Need.

The free swim is redeemable the next time you visit the pool. You will have to pay the normal rates to swim on the day you complete the sponsored swim.

To claim your free swim, take your completed sponsor form and your receipt or certificate that you will receive after sending your money to Children in Need.

This will then be redeemed for your swim.

Let us know how far you have swum for Pudsey by completing this form:

We can then track Pudsey's progress and make sure that he arrives safely in Sunderland.

HAPPY SWIMMING!
