While his performance impressed Headteacher Richard Park, Robin Gibb and Vocal coaches David and Carrie Grant felt he still had more to offer.

Once again, Gary found himself in the bottom three with Audley and Louise.

The teachers used their vote to save Louise from expulsion leaving Gary and Audley to fight it out for the student vote.

For the second timing running, Gary won the student vote with seven out of the twelve pupils choosing to keep the Geordie in the house.

Wor Gary

The Fame Academy students have no time to recover from losing their first housemate as the next survival show takes place on Wednesday.

Gary was due to sing 'Get what you give' by the New Radicals for Wednesday's expulsion show, but now he has decided to perform George Michael's 'Faith' instead.

Will the public keep the faith with Gary and keep him in the Academy
?

Check back with BBC Tyne as we follow his progress through the Academy.

Gary's Magic Moments
A 'Positive Mental Attitude' is key to boosting Gary's performance.
During a playful kick boxing fight, Gary managed to split Paris' trousers.
In Kevin's dance class, Gary dared to say that 'ballet sucks' to which Kevin replied 'so does your singing'.
