What will happen in the Winter Poetry Live Lesson?

Help your class bring words to life in our winter words workshop.

Get your class creating, performing and enjoying poetry with this fun, winter-themed Live Lesson. Pupils will discover where poets find their inspiration, experiment with words and ideas, and start writing a poem of their own.

They'll then explore how performance can bring poetry to life, experimenting with voice, expression, rhythm and delivery before preparing to perform their words. By the end of the lesson, every pupil will have the beginnings of their own poem and the confidence to bring it to life – making it a brilliant way to inspire an end-of-term performance.
