Derry hopeful despite failed bid
Mansfield Town chairman James Derry has said he believes he will still buy the club despite having his bid rejected by ex-chief executive Keith Haslam.

Derry told BBC Radio Nottingham: "Our offer was rejected and has been taken off the table, but nothing is ever done and dusted with Keith Haslam.

"The stumbling block is he wants more money than we are prepared to give.

"I ultimately believe we will buy the club, but that is just a personal opinion. Who else is there out there?"
