Mansfield owner Keith Haslam is determined to seek confirmation that the consortium bidding for the club has sufficient funds to secure its future. James Derry's consortium last week made a substantially reduced offer for the
purchase of the League Two side.
"We're seeking confirmation of adequate funding and also of some key terms that are yet to be clarified," Haslam said.
"The issues are important but are not
extensive or complicated and I expect a written response this week."
