Arthur Fery is giving all he can to stay with Grigor Dimitrov here.

He continues to do a good job of keeping the crowd involved, responding to what felt like a serious momentum shift from the end of the second serve and into the start of the third by forcing those opportunities to break back.

It’s not to be, but the shouts of encouragement continue. The Briton has plenty of evidence that he can hurt Dimitrov, but whether he can take those chances is ultimately going to decide the outcome.

For a set and a half, Fery was causing some problems but Dimitrov has turned the tables here.

Another superbly played point from the Bulgarian and he finishes it off smartly at the net.

Somewhat surprisingly, it appeared to take Grigor Dimitrov much longer to relax into this contest than Arthur Fery, who is certainly far less experienced on this sort of stage.

But the former semi-finalist is up and running now, and that will certainly help him to settle down as he seeks to turn this around.

Arthur Fery took himself off court to reset and he’s been gone quite a while here. An increasingly impatient Dimitrov is pacing around behind his baseline.

Fery returns. It’s game on - and the crowd will be hoping the British wildcard is as up for this fight as they clearly are.

• In the women's draw, former runner-up Jasmine Paolini ended Alexandra Eala's run to secure a quarter-final spot, while there were also wins for Marta Kostyuk, Linda Noskova and Elise Mertens.
• Defending champions Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool have progressed into the quarter-finals of the men's doubles but Neal Skupski and American partner Christian Harrison are out.

Still waiting for Arthur Fery to return to the court and Grigor Dimitrov is pacing back and forth behind the baseline.

He's keen to get going again. It's been eight minutes since the second set ended.

Dimitrov is doing a good job on first serve. There's the unforced errors but the significant change is the break point opportunities. He didn't have any in the first set.

He's just won three games in a row and will be very keen to try and maintain that intensity and try and get an early break to put the pressure right on Fery.

It's been over two years since she reached her first - and until today, only Grand Slam quarter-final - but the 21-year-old is back again.

Arthur Fery takes the opportunity to quickly leave the court instantly after losing the second set. How will he regain his composure? The momentum is now with Grigor Dimitrov.

This will be a good test of the Fery character.

Grigor Dimitrov, prowling at the net, forces Arthur Fery to go long and that gives the Bulgarian two set points.

He only needs one as the second serve is met by a loose forehand swipe from Fery, the return goes long and the match is level at one set apiece.

Oh dear. Madison Keys puts her hand to her face in disbelief.

A double fault gives Linda Noskova a double mini-break and a superb serve takes the ninth seed to within three points of victory.

Keys gets one mini-break back but she's still up against it on Court One.

I didn't see that coming. Fery got careless, loose, tight, maybe all of the above.

Dimitrov to serve for the second set now.

Fery goes long and for the first time today sees his serve broken. Dimitrov now serving for the set and a chance to make it a set apiece.

A game to forget for Fery there.

Madison Keys gets away with one there. The ball seemed to hang in the air for ages after striking the net cord, but it eventually falls onto Linda Noskova's side of the court and stops the Czech from bringing up match point. The crowd enjoyed that one.

A tie-break, it is.
