  1. Game and second set - Ealapublished at 15:21 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 4-6 0-0 Eala

    We're going to a decider!

Alexandra Eala takes the second set as Jasmine Paolini's return flies long.

A really enjoyable match and luckily enough we've got another set to come.

  2. Deucepublished at 15:21 BST

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 2-1 Cobolli

Alex de Minaur keeps popping up with the odd unforced error and another one gives Flavio Cobolli a way into this game.

He takes the invitation with a lovely backhand winner down the line to send the game to deuce.

  3. Two set points for Ealapublished at 15:20 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 4-5 Eala

The crowd are getting into this as Alexandra Eala and Jasmine Paolini slug it out from the baseline, neither willing to give an inch.

Eala comes out on drop and brings up two set points...

  4. Cobolli holdspublished at 15:17 BST

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 2-1 Cobolli

Flavio Cobolli has taken the foot of the accelerator a bit at the start of the third set but he takes advantage of a slip from Alex de Minaur to secure the hold with a forehand winner.

Phew. There were audible gasps and groans as Alexandra Eala slipped and fell there, but she's fine to continue and the crowd applaud as the Filipina gets back to her feet.

  6. Eala to serve for the second setpublished at 15:16 BST

    Paolini 6-4 4-5 Eala*

Job done on serve for Jasmine Paolini.

A nerveless drop shot down 15-30 gets things back on track for the 13th seed and she holds with a minimum of fuss.

Alexandra Eala slipped as she tried to push off to reach that drop shot but, thankfully, she is OK and will serve for the second set after the change of ends.

  7. De Minaur holdspublished at 15:14 BST

    De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 2-0 Cobolli*

Alex de Minaur consolidates the break with a breezy service game.

He's come out firing in this third set after losing the first two.

Flavio Cobolli held both arms aloft after battling back superbly to take the second set, his team bursting out of their seats in celebration.

That was a huge effort by the Italian, who is on track for a statement win here. He may even be asserting himself as a bit of a dark horse for the title, on the side of the draw free of favourites Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic.

Long way to go yet, of course… as I'm soon reminded by Alex de Minaur, as he strikes back at the start of the third.

    *Paolini 6-4 5-3 Eala

    Marion Bartoli
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can sense the tension from Paolini. She's missing balls by quite a mile and sometimes even struggling to find the court.

  10. Eala saves three break pointspublished at 15:13 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 3-5 Eala

Alexandra Eala is a game from levelling the match after holding from 0-40 down.

Jasmine Paolini broke back immediately earlier in the set and the Italian had the chance to do so again, seeing Eala coming to the net and whipping her forehand at the feet of the 29th seed.

That brings up three break points but Eala battles to stave them off.

From there the left-hander takes control. Missed opportunity for Paolini.

  11. De Minaur breakspublished at 15:12 BST

    *De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 1-0 Cobolli

Some pressure on Flavio Cobolli's serve at the start of this third set as Alex de Minaur keeps himself in some rallies and forces a couple of errors to bring up break point.

The Australian fifth seed makes it count with a fizzing forehand winner across court.

That's the way to do it.

Eala is an incredible competitor. You can never doubt her determination and grit.

Ooohs from the crowd as the screen shows the replay of that last point. Jasmine Paolini couldn't believe it was out, but the replay shows she missed the line by mere millimetres.

The Italian turns to her team, holds out her arms and shrugs in frustration before trundling back to her chair.

  14. Cobolli 'taking the match on'published at 15:07 BST

    De Minaur 5-7 6-7 (4-7) 0-0 Cobolli*

    Todd Woodbridge
Former Wimbledon doubles champion on BBC Two

De Minaur was giving everything to try to stay in it but it shows you how good Cobolli is playing, just denying him of that opportunity.

Cobolli is the one who's taking the match on at the right times, De Minaur hasn't been able to do that.

De Minaur has had plenty of times where he could've played a shot but he's shied away. When Cobolli has been on the defensive, he's stayed aggressive.

  15. Eala breakspublished at 15:06 BST

    Paolini 6-4 3-4 Eala*

    It's advantage Alexandra Eala again.

Jasmine Paolini had produced big shots at crucial moments in that game - a perfectly executed serve and volley at 30-30, then her first ace of the match at deuce - but Eala kept coming.

Paolini nearly does it again at break point but her backhand slides millimetres wide of the line and Eala is a break up once more.

Flavio Cobolli is made to work for it because of some remarkable Alex de Minaur defence from the back of the court, but the Italian ninth seed eventually finds the right shot.

Cobolli is two sets up and has one foot in the Wimbledon quarter-finals.

  17. Set point Cobollipublished at 15:03 BST

    De Minaur 5-7 6-6 (3-6) Cobolli*

Under pressure at the back of the court after racing back to recover a lob, Flavio Cobolli rips a forehand winner which draws oohs from the crowd.

Cobolli later takes advantage of a second serve to crash a forehand return winner and bring up three set points.

    De Minaur 5-7 6-6 (3-3) Cobolli*

    Harry Poole
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Great Britain’s Katie Boulter has arrived to support partner Alex de Minaur, and she’s proudly wearing an England shirt after last night’s incredible match.

Hopefully she didn’t disturb De Minaur with her celebrations if she stayed up to watch that one…

  19. Tie-breakpublished at 15:00 BST

    De Minaur 5-7 6-6 (3-3) Cobolli*

Alex de Minaur goes the wrong way with a forehand when well placed in a rally and it bounces the wrong side of the line, before Flavio Cobolli's magnificent defence earns him a mini break.

Cobolli can't take advantage as he then puts a forehand long and we go to the change of ends with the score level in the tie-break.

  20. Eala holdspublished at 14:59 BST

    *Paolini 6-4 3-3 Eala

Chance for Jasmine Paolini. Second serve at 30-all, it sits up nicely but she pumps it into the net.

Alexandra Eala then seals the hold with a brilliant backhand slice that just catches the line and scoots through for a winner.

Even if Paolini had got there, she couldn't have got underneath it to get it back!
