We've seen very few winners early in this match so that game was a much-needed tonic.

Hopefully in the back of Jacob Fearnley's mind is an awareness of his opponent and what he can do and is comfortable with but also maybe not so comfortably doing - which is when Etcheverry is attacked, he drifts way deeper behind the baseline just to give himself more time to see the ball and to try and load up.

I expect if Fearnley does get to net, that we're going to see a few drop volleys put in play.

This match has been short on exciting winners, but Botic van de Zandschulp is upping his tally now.

It's hard going for Choinski when he hits the ball so cleanly and solidly out of the middle of the racket, but he does just take up position behind the basline and Van de Zandschulp has a few options there - he can either go toe-to-toe or he can fade back even when he's returning serve, as he's probably aware that Choinski's not going to serve-and-volley.
