They really are working hard and had to work hard there because at the moment Exeter have been defending really courageously.

Exeter are scrambling but do so well and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso leaps out of the line to almost secure the interception - a genuine attempt - but knocks on so Saints will restart with a scrum about 15 metres out from the Chiefs line.

Exeter's players are over the line - but the ball isn't.

They secure the line-out on this occasion and get going with the drive but it's a little messy and with bodies everywhere they come up short.

The referee says he did see it in real time and felt it was a coming together with the players in the same space rather than a deliberate tackle by Ethan Roots.

And having watched again he sticks with his original decision so Chiefs keep the ball and have an attacking platform.
