New Zealand going to South Africa will be incredible rugby to watch. The All Blacks sound like they're really up for it and building that aura around them again that they maybe haven't quite had for the last number of years.

I've been on tours where I haven't played and it makes you more hungry to get back in.
You get selected for Ireland by playing well for your club, so guys like Zac Ward will have got a taste of that environment and will have learnt an awful lot from the likes of Hugo Keenan.
He'll go back to Ulster and keep working. You know what's coming around the corner in November and you want to be involved.

As a neutral who just wanted to see Ireland give the All Blacks a proper game, I was a bit disappointed this morning. It really felt like they missed a top-class fly-half like Jack Crowley. I've watched him plenty of times, and I'm still not convinced that Prendergast can control a match at this level.

Having 10 Ulster guys on this tour has been really great.
We've always talked about the reason there in the green jersey is because of what they do in the white, so it's really important they come back and add to our environment.
These guys will get between four and six weeks off now and then come in and get themselves ready to go.

Missing key players, no backup wingers when Tommy O'Brien got injured (prematurely sent Lowe packing) and looked tired....Ireland were never going to win. Surprised they competed so well.

It's always refreshing when Andy Farrell speaks. He doesn't try to hide or mask anything, and his initial reaction comes from the heart, which is always nice to hear.
You get punished almost immediately by the All Blacks for errors you might survive against other teams. He'll analyse the tour and that game in particular, and he'll have a plan for how to grow this team going into November.

I think Andy Farrell will be reasonably happy. He will be disappointed we didn't get at least a point from the game.
Ireland were a bit hit and miss at times, but in the second half, they went toe to toe with them.

I think Ireland can be proud of their response in the second half and they did win it 14-12.
They lacked a bit of accuracy to give themselves a fighting chance and New Zealand just had too much class on the day.

Continuity, it just wasn't flowing for a number of reasons: spilled ball, throwing the ball into touch, etc. The character and fight is there for all to see, hence the comeback against Australia, but you can't make that many errors against New Zealand. Congratulations to them."
On blooding players in the Nations Championship: "When injuries occur, there is an opportunity to bring a few lads who have never been to this side of the world and give them that experience."
On New Zealand: "Dave is a fantastic coach, you can see what they are trying to do. He wears his heart on his sleeve. With the speed of ball and movement, it was hard to handle for us. We have to look how we adapt and do things better. We will re-assess and learn for next year."

Take into account the two tries Ireland gifted them and the obvious red that wasn't given, and that changes things, but too many errors of Ireland's own making.

Going to New Zealand and playing at Eden Park, even for lads with a bit of experience but especially for newer lads, makes you find out the level of rugby you have to be able to play at to be able to compete with these kinds of top teams.
I feel there's a lot to be positive about.

Having beaten Australia and Japan in their first two games, Ireland will leave Auckland empty-handed after their fourth successive loss to New Zealand and must wait until November to atone for a sloppy first-half performance.

If Ireland are going to be successful, continuing to grow that depth is huge.
Tom O'Toole has started the three games at loosehead, which is not a position he plays every week. They'll look at that and see how they can keep on developing him.
We're starting to get a few guys into that front five, which will be good going forward.

Ireland's phase play and the way we attack are at such a high level, but the set piece has been a bit of a let-down throughout the year.
Going into a World Cup year, the set piece will be a huge focus, and there will be a lot of learnings and a lot of belief from today's second half.

Scott Robertson was sacked in January. It was a bold call, and one that seems to be paying off.
