Scotland's Neil Fachie and pilot Aaron Pope along with their opponents James Ball and Matt Rotherham of Wales are back out and ready for this deciding race.

Fachie and Pope are both wearing signs of that crash with a few bumps and bruises.

England's Harry Ledingham-Horn will have ride for bronze.

Nicholas Paul of Trinidad and Tobago is too strong and too fast and he will face Leigh Hoffman in the final later.

Ledingham-Horn will be up against another Australian, Tayte Ryan.

After 68 bouts without defeat before today, Ruby White has suffered the first loss of her career.

India's Sakshi Chaudhary becomes the first fighter to beat the 19-year-old and wins the gold medal by unanimous decision.

A great effort by White, who is in tears, but Sakshi showed her superior experience to come out on top with a 5-0 score from the judges.

White will have to settle for silver - though it should not overshadow what has been a remarkable rise through the ranks for the teenager from Dorset.

It's time for the biggest moment of Ruby White's career. Though highly rated for a while, the 19-year-old only joined the senior GB programme in May.

White has not lost a bout since she was 11 years old but today is facing a seasoned senior boxer.

There's a great atmosphere in here.

Just 10 of the 100 laps remain of this, frankly, mind-bogglingly confusing but engrossing race.

Anna Morris (56) and Jess Roberts (50) hold a Wales one-two and Australia's Georgia Baker (42) has snuck into third spot.

Did we mention there are double points on offer in the final lap? You know, just to make it even less straightforward!

England teenage boxer Ruby White has caught the eye for a number of reasons at the Commonwealth Games, particularly so when the referee was forced to stop her dominant semi-final bout against Namibia's Mischa Araes on Friday.

White knocked Araes to the canvas in the first round and then forced her opponent into two standing counts in the second before the referee called it and awarded the Dorset-based athlete victory to guarantee at least a silver medal.

"I wanted to be in there for the full three minutes, I was enjoying it so much," the 19-year-old, who has been dubbed the 'Pocket Rocket', said afterwards.

"I couldn't ask for better. I'm a little bit lost for words, but the job is not done yet. I've got to bring that gold medal home."

Despite a run of 68 fights undefeated across her career so far, White was still surprised when she got the call up for the Games - and now she is on the brink of history.

Into the final quarter of this mammoth race we go in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and it is looking good for Wales.

Anna Morris (56) leads with team-mate Jess Roberts (50) in second place followed by Josie Knight of England (42).

All three of England’s boxers competing earlier today claimed gold, with Sacha Hickey, Patris Mughalzai and Isaac Okoh winning their final matches.

And now this evening, we have four more English fighters who will hope to keep the momentum going and do the same.

First up, 19-year-old Ruby White - who has earned the nickname ‘Pocket Rocket’ for her 5ft 1in stature and remarkable record of 68 bouts without defeat in her career to date - will take on India’s Sakshi Chaudhary in the women’s 51kg.

Chantelle Reid will then face Arundhati Choudhary of India in the women’s 70kg before Dimeji Shittu comes up against another Indian athlete, Ankush Panghal, in the men’s 80kg final.

The evening will round off with the highly anticipated 90kg+ clash between England heavyweight Damar Thomas and India’s Narender Berwal.

We are halfway through the race - 50 laps remain.

Wales' Anna Morris leads on 26 points with Australia's Alyssa Polites on 25 and another Welsh rider, Jess Roberts (23), in third place.

Scotland's Neah Evans, who crashed a little earlier, has now dropped out of the race.
