A win at the sixth for the rejuvenated Nanna Koerstz Madsen who looks a different player today to the one we saw struggling on the opening day.

Allisen Corpuz is a major winner and a fine player but she struggling in these conditions and is two over through six holes ans it's Madsen who is keeping it more steady.

I did not see Esther Henseleit being 4UP over Alison Lee through the first nine.

Charley Hull plays the 10th beautifully and almost drops in a putt from the front edge for an eagle - yet another one to add to the catalogue of near misses.

However, it doesn't cost her on this occasion as Megan Khang misses from four feet for her birdie as Hull goes two up!

Linn Grant leaks her drive way out right on the reachable par-four eighth hole.

Angel Yin is straight at the green but nowhere near long enough as her ball trundles into a greenside bunker.

Grant plays a beaut of a second, her ball finishing four feet from the hole. Yin matches her from the sand. And they both roll in birdie putts.

Wow wow wow. Nerves are clearly jangling in this match.

Yealimi Noh is three feet away for par on the fourth but her putt lips out.

A sure win for Julia Lopez Ramirez who is closer for her par? No! A real tentative stab right. Ugly from both players.

Mimi Rhodes is a fraction short with her approach on the seventh but he ball doesn't fall back into the water.

Nelly Korda is doing Nelly Korda today though. The American fires her ball into eight feet and in pole position to double her lead.

Lottie Woad is in the middle of the third fairway and hits one of the best shots of the day so far. The ball lands pin high, bounces, grabs the green and trickles back down a slope to around four feet.

Auston Kim is also on the green, about 20 feet away and the American holes her birdie putt.

Pressure back on Woad. She knocks it in. Hole halved.

Leona Maguire has to tighten up her defences as she's left her chin open on the second with Lauren Coughlin having eight feet to win the hole.

But the American is off target and Maguire survives that one. Told you we'd have loads of boxing references.

If the singles remain close today then this could be a decisive match.

So it's no surprise to see Anna Nordqvist stick her best grinder this far down the order. Carlota Ciganda was celebrating in her native Spain in 2023 after getting Europe to 14 points to retain the title.

And she holed a big putt to snatch a half on the 18th on Friday.

But US skipper Angela Stanford has similar hopes for Jennifer Kupcho. The American has only won one point from three matches but that was the big momentum shifter on the final hole on Saturday.

Kupcho had already drained a 91-foot putt on the 17th and then completed a late comeback win over Ciganda and Celine Boutier with another huge putt on the 18th.

Our first match of the day hits the turn with Charley Hull holding a slender lead, but on balance she should probably be another hole or so in front.

Megan Khang's only had a couple of real chances to win a hole while Hull has missed some good opportunities to stretch the lead.

And one thing's for sure, Khang will not give up until that final putt drops.

Angel Yin takes her penalty drop and clips her fourth to around eight feet.

Two putts for the win for Linn Grant. She's a bit feisty with her first so will have to putt again.

And Yin makes sure there's a bit more pressure on it by knocking in her bogey putt.

But Grant makes no mistake. Another fist pump as her ball goes underground and that's three on the spin for the Swede.

Spain's Julia Ramirez Lopez removes a line of red off the scoreboard by ramming in a hole-winner on the third to yet more big cheers.

It may well be bucketing it down, but the fans are determined to cheer their team home.

Mimi Rhodes is in what has been a popular spot on the short sixth this week. Her ball is in a dell just off the back left of the green.

And she hits an exquisite chip up to kick-in range.

But Nelly Korda is staring down a 15-footer to get her nose back in front. And the world number one does what world number ones do best. This is shaping up to be a belter of a contest.
