London City have been brilliant in this first half - they've been on the front foot from minute one. They've looked dangerous every time they've gone forward. They probably could have had more goals to go with it.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:55 BST

    Everton 1-1 Birmingham City

All square at half-time at Goodison Park.

Ruby Mace puts Everton in front, Oceane Hurtre levelled soon after with her fifth WSL goal of the season for Birmingham.

The home side have been hammering the door down in search of a second but to no avail so far.

    Tottenham 0-3 London City Lionesses

The half-time whistles goes and London City Lionesses are 45 minutes away from a big statement win.

They've been fantastic with two goals from Alexia Putellas either side of Kadidiatou Diani's strike.

Spurs had a flurry late in the half but have largely been distinctly second best.

  5. CLOSE!published at 14:53 BST

    Tottenham 0-3 London City Lionesses

The home side nearly get one back!

A corner is only partially cleared and the ball sits up nicely for Amanda Nilden just inside the penalty area.

Her shot is well-struck but takes a nick off a defender and flies narrowly over the bar.

    Tottenham 0-3 London City Lionesses

It's been a fantastic half for London City but there is some concern for them now with Mapi Leon down and looking in a bit of trouble.

She's been getting treatment from the physios for a couple of minutes now. The problem seems to be her wrist.

A Spurs player landed on it. Accidental but very painful.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:49 BST

    Brighton 2-1 Charlton

And right on half-time Brighton almost add a third as Olaug Tvedten's shot from a narrow angle is beaten up into the air and out of danger by Sophie Whitehouse.

    Good game, this.

Before people get too carried away with the LCL performances and results so far, let’s not forget they are heavily funded, and have used that money to get this team together very quickly. Like the men’s game it’s not a level playing field when it comes to funds.

Sloppy from Spurs at the back and Kadidiatou Diani is able to get a snapshot off inside the box.

Lize Kop is equal to this one. The deficit stays at three.

I still can't get over that Elene Lete save at the other end!

    OFF THE BAR!

What a save from Elene Lete to tip Julie Blakstad's curling free-kick onto the bar!

The left-footed effort looked destined for the top corner but Lete throws herself to her left and gets a fingertip on it.

Incredible save and the corner comes to nothing.

    Fran Kirby (45+1 min)

Brighton turn things around, and it's a carbon copy of their first goal.

Olivia Garcia runs down the left again and cuts the ball back. Masie Symonds misses it but Fran Kirby is just behind her and reacts well to poke the ball into the bottom corner from a few yards out.

Olivia Holdt is brought down on the edge of the box and Spurs have a free-kick in a dangerous position.

A little over 20 yards out, just to the right of centre.

    Everton 1-1 Birmingham City

Everton are pushing to re-take the lead at Goodison Park with Sophia Baggaley being kept busy in the Birmingham goal.

    Still level for now, though.

Abbie Larkin finds herself in a good area again but makes the wrong choice.

She's under pressure in the box but decides to have a go, which isn't the best.

  17. CLOSE!published at 14:42 BST

    Tottenham 0-3 London City Lionesses

    It should be 4-0!

Yet another excellent move. Alexia Putellas' first-time pass finds Freya Godfrey on the right, she drives infield and then threads a lovely ball through to Danielle van de Donk.

The Netherlands international nips the ball past the onrushing Lize Kop but then puts the shot into the side netting, maybe just flicking the outside of the post.

It was a fairly tight angle but Van de Donk will still have expected to score.

Chelsea go in front. West Ham try to be too cute playing it out from the back and Sjoeke Nusken wins the Blues the ball back before driving towards goal.

The German is tackled in the penalty area but the ball falls really nicely for Melvine Malard who skids a shot into the bottom corner on the spin.

Beautiful finish. That was all van de Donk then it's a beautiful finish into the back of the net.
