    Croatia 1-0 Spain

Interesting news from the other match in Nations League Group A3 as Ivan Perisic has put Croatia 1-0 ahead against Spain.

The away side win a corner, with Marc Guehi unable to keep the ball in. Czech Republic go short with it, and that seems a real waste for them when they could have swung it into the middle.

England deal with it well and it comes to nothing.

Love having Lewis Hall, an actual left-back, at left-back. Please keep him there.

    England 0-0 Czech Republic

Trent Alexander-Arnold finds himself in the centre-forward position and wins a corner, which England play short.

A few passes later and the ball is at Elliot Anderson's feet, but he tamely lifts a curled effort over the top from 25 yards out.

Morgan Rogers cuts in from the right touchline and gets the ball on to his left foot, 20 yards out, but the effort does not match the run with the ball going high and wide.

Newcastle goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek does well when Harry Kane floats a quick free-kick from deep into Morgan Rogers' path.

But Hornicek shows good bravery with a full-length dive to punch the ball away from Rogers, although the pair then clatter into each other.

Both men able to carry on though.

As we mentioned, Harry Kane is now level with Peter Shilton on 125 England men's caps. But this is another record Kane can chase...

Tonight is Kane's 41st England appearance at Wembley, putting him joint fourth on the all-time list of games there for the Three Lions. He's now behind only Shilton (52), Bobby Charlton (44) and Bobby Moore (43).

A first attack in open play from England and the cross comes in from Trent Alexander-Arnold on the right, but it is just too high for Harry Kane.

He has brilliant technique, Trent. I'd like to see him a little bit deeper so he can deliver. Just feels as if he can't open himself up enough.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 7 mins

    England 0-0 Czech Republic

England get a free-kick from 35 yards out. Trent Alexander-Arnold takes it, gets it up and over the wall and it may have crept inside the near post, but Lukas Hornicek flings himself to his right to push it wide.

Great technique from Trent, great save by the keeper.

Jordan Pickford takes too long there.

His concentration levels will be tested tonight because I don't think he will be overly busy.

Jordan Pickford is closed down by Ryan Naderi and just about gets the ball away. However, it wouldn't have mattered as the Rangers striker had committed a foul in challenging the England keeper.

Going into this one with confidence, it's been a good four games, could have easily won the Spain game. There's been some really good moments for Thomas Tuchel's side.

I'm looking forward to this game.

Sadly Harry Kane will not be appreciated by a section of England fans until they see how much England will struggle when he finally stops. Too many haters towards him is unreal due to club alliances. But for me he is comfortably England's greatest ever striker/goal scorer.

With the exception of Anthony Gordon, there's nobody you’d call a game changer on the bench. This is why we struggle against teams like Spain when we need to mix it up in the second half.

Why drop Anthony Gordon? He was outstanding in the last game.
