Ben Gannon-Doak wins a Scotland corner, which comes to nothing when it's swung in by John McGinn.

Slovenia play out under pressure and they're away, with Gannon-Doak now giving away a corner at his own end.

I thought Stephen Welsh was exposed there.

He allowed the ball in behind and Slovenia should have done better.

Is this the same side we saw in the second half out there?

Slovenia are whizzing the ball about with confidence.

Slovenia are having far too much of the ball for my liking.

That's 1,000 minutes in a Scotland shirt for Oli McBurnie without a goal.

Had little service tonight, so far.

  5. Postpublished at 13'

    Scotland 0-0 Slovenia

Slovenia slice through Scotland with ease and the ball is dragged across to an open Adam Gnezda Cerin, whose shot is pretty much cleared off the line by Jack Hendry.

    Scotland 0-0 Slovenia

The visitors have settled into this game after an encouraging start by Scotland.

What an achievement for Billy Gilmour - 25 years old and 50 caps.

Plenty more to come as well.

  8. Gilmour sets new recordpublished at 19:56 BST

Billy Gilmour, 25, is earning his 50th cap for Scotland this evening, becoming the youngest player in the nation's history to reach that milestone, beating the previous record of Paul McStay.

  10. Postpublished at 6'

    Scotland 0-0 Slovenia

That's a superb challenge from Lewis Ferguson to win the ball with a slide tackle as Slovenia were menacing on the edge of the Scotland box.

  11. Postpublished at 19:53 BST

    Scotland 0-0 Slovenia

    Leanne Crichton
Former Scotland international on BBC Sportsound

I thought the referee could have blown his whistle earlier as it was a clear foul.

But it was a warning shot and Slovenia seem to have a gameplan of playing that ball over the top.

  12. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 4'

    Scotland 0-0 Slovenia

Jack Hendry feels two hands on his back and takes a risk by going down in his own box.

The referee waves play on for now and Slovenia smash a post, but it's eventually brought back for a foul. Phew.

  13. Postpublished at 2'

    Scotland 0-0 Slovenia

Really promising start from Scotland as Ryan Christie feeds John McGinn on the edge.

The Villa captain's goal-bound shot is blocked, though.

    Scotland v Slovenia (19:45)

It's already been a positive night for Scotland's Under-21s, kind of.

They have concluded their unsuccessful attempt to qualify for the Euros with a win against Bulgaria thanks to goals in either half by Barney Stewart and Bobby Wales.

If one man was going to get Steve Clarke back to Hampden, it'd be his skipper.

Nice touch from Alex McLeish and Gordon Strachan, allowing Clarke a wee moment to take in the applause of the supporters.

  18. 'Bowie knows rotation is part of the camp'published at 19:42 BST

    Scotland v Slovenia (19:45)

Scotland boss Sebastien Pocognoli: "We played against them two weeks ago - it's a good team, clear structure and they play with a collective block. We need to be ready and at our best.

"We always manage the physical parameters as well as the tactical aspect.

"We need some creative players in between the lines and Ryan [Christie] has had a very good camp up until now.

"Kieron [Bowie] knows rotation is part of the camp. I think he will have an impact today when he comes on."

    Scotland v Slovenia (19:45)

Former Scotland bosses Steve Clarke, Gordon Strachan and Alex McLeish have just received a warm reception from the home crowd.

The trio have a framed Andy Robertson top with a big number 100 printed on it.

A wee gift for the Scotland captain when he emerges from the tunnel, you'd assume.

  20. Gnezda Cerin returns for Sloveniapublished at 19:39 BST

    Scotland v Slovenia (19:45)

Slovenia head coach Bostjan Cesar has made just one change from their 2-1 defeat in Switzerland.
