    Former Australia manager on ITV

Turkey will be so pleased they won, but they will be kicking themselves. They know the quality they have.

They've got talented players, but they are leaving having beaten the group leaders. There is no doubt they are good enough to get out of this group.

USA have lost a game at a World Cup. Maybe their dream is a little bit broken. But they will still have confidence.

It's a bump in the road but they will still have confidence, the whole country is behind them.

    FT: Paraguay 0-0 Australia

    Ange Postecoglou
    Former Australia manager on ITV

It's a great achievement for Australia. It was a tough group and to come second is fantastic for them. It sets them up nicely now.

It's another World Cup that they've got out of the group stage.

It's massive for a country like Australia. We're at that stage where we're qualifying for World Cups regularly and now it's about getting to that next level.

For a lot of countries like Australia and others at that level, for us to break through we've got to get to the knockout stages consistently and win knockout games - that's the next phase.

    FT: Paraguay 0-0 Australia

This result does Scotland no favours.

Paraguay are the fifth third-placed team guaranteed to end with a better record than Steve Clarke's side.

  5. Australia the happier sidepublished at 05:13 BST

The decision-making in the final third certainly lacked for both sides. But you can see it's Australia who are the happier of the two sides. They're celebrating, they came for the draw. I said it was going to be risky to do that. They've defended well, they've been solid.

But when those chances came in the final third, they just couldn't take them. Paraguay were the team that really had to try to go for it, to get that win that could have taken them into second place.

Despite Turkey's disappointing World Cup campaign, there is little doubt about the quality of the squad.

Players such as Arda Guler, Kenan Yildiz and Ferdi Kadioglu are among the most exciting young talents in European football, giving supporters genuine reason for optimism despite an early exit.

The mood around the team is understandably one of disappointment, but few in Turkey believe this generation has reached its ceiling. Instead, attention is already beginning to turn towards Euro 2028, which will be hosted across the UK and Ireland.

Given the talent emerging from this squad - and the reputation of Turkey's travelling support - many will expect the team to return to the major tournament stage in a much stronger position.

    Drama right at the end!

I watched a load of Turkey fans absolutely leg it back in from the concourse after hearing that late, late, late strike by their side.

Turkey sign off their World Cup on a positive note but frustration for USA.

Maybe a bit of a grounding is what they've needed, however, and they can regroup and reassess for the knockouts.

There's not as many USA fans sticking around for the full-time rendition of "Take Me Home, Country Roads" this time.

    And that's it!

Turkey worked the ball well down the right, it came over to the left and was squared across the face of goal for Kaan Ayhan to tap into the net and spark wild celebrations.

Turkey are still going home, but that clearly meant a lot.

    Paraguay 0-0 Australia

Australia go through to the last 32 as Group D runners-up and Paraguay will finish third.

They have to wait to find out if they'll advance to the knockout stage, but four points may well be enough for them to continue their World Cup adventure.

Almost late drama as Paraguay's Mauricio shoots from the edge of the box but straight at Australia goalkeeper Patrick Beach.

    Turkey 2-2 USA

Two final changes for Turkey see Mert Müldür and Irfan Can Kahveci replace Oguz Aydin and Baris Alper Yilmaz.

USA have used all five of their changes, so defender Trusty is continuing despite hobbling around.

    Turkey 2-2 USA

This is a bit of a dampener for the USA - Auston Trusty is down holding the back of his leg. He looks to be in quite a lot of pain.

Seven minutes of injury-time is shown on the board, but we're going to have more than that.

    Paraguay 0-0 Australia

Jordan Bos almost finds a late winner for Australia but his curling effort doesn't quite curl enough into the far corner and drifts just wide.

At least five minutes will be added on at the end of this one.

We've just seen the match stats and Paraguay have had four shots on target. Australia have had one, which really does sum it up.
