Both Lily Murphy and Georgia Mullett are young, up and coming players.

You can feel the pressure rising - Chelsea have got to make it count.

Villa are going to have to be smart with game management now.

Chelsea's 10th corner of the match is played out to Keira Walsh on the edge of the box, and her finessed effort clatters off the underside of the bar and bounces away.

Akane Okuma wasn't getting to that one.

That's a decent save from Okuma, one of the first times the backline has been seriously breached.

We know she's got the ability, she knows she's got it, just backing herself up. Gets down smartly and sends it wide. It's been more of an even contest in this second half

Many would have assumed that 21-year-old Akane Okuma would have been third choice keeper for Villa this season, with experienced options Ellie Roebuck and Emily Ramsey also at the club.

But with Roebuck and Ramsey absent today, Okuma is taking her chance with some good saves - the latest a low stop to her left from a tame Aggie Beever-Jones shot.

That's her sixth stop of the match.

Chelsea peel Villa open down the right, Lucy Bronze and Sjoeke Nusken teaming up to play rampaging right-back Ellie Carpenter through one on one with the keeper.

Carpenter fires low across goal, forcing Okuma into a low save to turn the effort away well.

Villa are starting to play with a bit more urgency now. They are certainly seeing more of the ball.

I wonder when Sonia Bompastor will turn to her bench to try and give Chelsea a needed boost.

Aston Villa are waking up Chelsea.

First change of the game, as Villa midfielder Miri Taylor replaces Maya Hijikata.

Chelsea have a free-kick in a good position 35 yards from the Villa goal - but they play it short, back to Lauren James who shoots well wide.

Another wasted chance for the Blues.

That was beautifully patient from Lucy Parker, a wonderfully threaded ball. Chasity Grant sees the run of Vangsgaard who makes that last sharp movement to get goalside.

It seemed so easy.

So close to an equaliser!

Villa put together their most flowing move of the game down the right, and new striker Amalie Vangsgaard swings a first time shot just wide of the near post.

That's a real warning for Chelsea.

It looks as though Wieke Kaptein will be able to come back on after a minute on the side-lines.

She is still holding her left knee, but thankfully it doesn't look like the dreaded ACL injury has struck.
