Villa fan here but tonight I am cheering on Arsenal. Any British supporter regardless of who you support domestically should also be supporting Arsenal tonight. It would be brilliant to do a clean sweep of European trophies.

When PSG gets going it is like an orchestra. It will all happen at once and that is how they like to play. Arsenal have to disrupt that.

Brilliant from Gabriel, who somehow manages to stretch out a long leg and produce a perfect challenge to take the ball away from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who was poised to shoot inside the penalty area.

The corner finds Fabian Ruiz, but from a tight angle he can only flick the ball into the side netting.

Each of the last 11 sides to go 1-0 up in a Champions League final went on to lift the trophy - the last to fail were Atletico Madrid in 2014 against Real Madrid (lost 4-1).

Worst thing for this game is Arsenal scoring first. Backs to the wall, park the bus for the next 85mins.

Kai Havertz is only the third player to score for two different teams in a Champions League final (Chelsea, Arsenal), after Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United, Real Madrid) and Mario Mandzukic (Juventus, Bayern Munich).

Incredible start. The finish is an absolutely different class, he realises there is no one there. Away Havertz goes, has a little go. Lifts it up. Unstoppable!

It was a bizarre goal! I don't think Matvey Safonov comes out to try and shut it down. The goalkeeper doesn't come out and he doesn't narrow the angle. Kai Havertz sees a window high and into that near post. Huge power into the roof of the net.

That came from absolutely nothing. What a start from Arsenal.

I don't think I have seen Kai Havertz run that fast with the ball before. It took a couple of seconds to register that it had gone in because of where we are sat.

It's a brilliant finish and the Arsenal end is going wild.

What a finish! Arsenal have the lead in the Champions League final. Kai Havertz just like he did for Chelsea.

The Gunners take the lead in the Champions League final!

Kai Havertz, who scored for Chelsea against Manchester City in the 2021 final, gets free down the left wing and, with no-one closing him down, he gets into the penalty area and blasts the ball into the roof of the net.

A dream start for the Arsenal.

PSG have a lot of the ball, but most of that has been inside their own half. Then a bit of stroppiness from PSG's Fabian Ruiz, who is lucky to not be booked for throwing the ball away.

Arsenal in the Champions League so far haven't had any weaknesses. Just great results. But this will be a tough challenge.

Paris St-Germain have named the same 10 outfield players that started last year's Champions League final against Inter. They are only the second side to field the same 10 outfield players in successive finals in the competition's history, after Real Madrid in 2017-18.

Arsenal start the Champions League final, and do so by flicking up the ball and launching it high into the sky. But PSG are able to deal with the early high ball.
