Shea Lacey is having a superb game.

The 19-year-old just crossed for Bryan Mbeumo to head wide and then almost sent the Cameroon striker through with an excellent turn and pass.

Lacey is going to be elevated to first-team duties this season and it is easy to see why.

His control, vision and speed of passing are outstanding.

That was lucky and unlucky for Amad Diallo.

The Manchester United man didn't get that much power behind his free-kick and Jan Oblak looked to be covering it easily.

Then it took a deflection that could easily have turned it into a goal.

Oblak saved with his legs.

Manchester United have responded well to going behind.

Amad whips the free-kick low and Jan Oblak makes the save. It takes a little deflection which almost catches the keeper out but he keeps hold of the ball to deny United the equaliser.

Good corner delivery by Bryan Mbeumo and Leny Yoro gets a header on it at the far post but he nods wide.

Manchester United almost find an immediate response but what a save it is from Jan Oblak.

Amid much fanfare, JJ Gabriel was selected for Manchester United's senior squad for the first time last Friday.

However, the 15-year-old just watched the 5-0 win over Rosenborg in Trondheim.

Today, with only nine outfield players in his squad, there is more chance Michael Carrick will give the Londoner some time on the pitch.
