Bromyard pupil air lifted to hospital
An 11-year-old schoolboy has been airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car in Herefordshire.
The crash happened at the junction of the A44 and Winslow Road in Bromyard at approximately 08:30 GMT on Monday.
He suffered serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening, according to West Mercia Police.
Queen Elizabeth High School in Bromyard confirmed that the victim was a Year 7 pupil at the school and thanked everyone involved in caring for him.
