When Sir Patrick Stewart came to Malvern

Available for over a year

The legendary actor took to the stage in 2003, as lead in The Master Builder, only a fortnight after his X-Men sequel was released. Malvern Theatres celebrated by unusually hosting matinee screenings of the comic book blockbuster in advance of the play! The late Sir Patrick tells Katie Johnson about life growing up in Yorkshire, honing his craft on stage at the RSC in Stratford and how he was determined to keep treading the boards as he got older.
