'I rode a horse through the Wychbold McDonald's'

Available for over a year

Nick Holden from Feckenham says alongside his order of chicken nuggets and chips, his pony Sparky was given a free bag of apple slices. They ate their spur-of-the-moment takeaway from the drive through at Hanbury Woods on a 'picnic'. The eventer tells Elliott Webb how it's the second time he has turned up to the restaurant on horseback, adding that he got caught out by the number plate recognition that alerts staff to customers waiting, so had to ride up to the window in order to be served. He says he was pleasantly surprised by how many people online and who were eating on the day enjoyed watching him take his order. Image credit: Nick Holden
