Episode 2

In the suburbs of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Stacey is the house guest of Linda, her ex-husband Chris and Linda’s new girlfriend, Maddy - who between them co-parent their three children. Stacey discovers how this unusual family unit came about, how they manage to juggle the parenting responsibilities for their joint children and how the threesome navigate decisions big and small.

Linda and Chris married in 2016 and had two kids together. Chris had the couple’s lives mapped out, but after six years, Linda dropped the bombshell that she was gay. They broke up but decided to continue parenting and living together, and Chris moved into the spare room.

Just ten months after the breakdown of her marriage, Linda met girlfriend Maddy online and soon moved her into the family home she shared with Chris and their kids.

When Maddy and Linda decided they wanted a child of their own, they approached Chris to be the father. He said yes, and Maddy gave birth to Arlo, inextricably linking Chris to his soon-to-be ex-wife and her new girlfriend.

During her stay, Stacey asks how long this co-parenting idyll can last and what the future holds for the threesome.
