Episode 14
Dangerous driving leads to a disputed stop, a lost wallet sends officers on a lengthy search, and a tourist without a licence is fined as coastguards enforce safety rules at sea.
It’s a busy holiday weekend in Bermuda, and PCs Holly Lavigne-Smith and Raeshaun 'Robbie' Robinson start their shift with what looks like a routine traffic stop. But a faulty brake light quickly leads to a more delicate situation, one that calls for calm decisions and a careful balance between enforcement and compassion. When they get a request to track down a lost wallet, it sounds straightforward, but it soon sends the pair across the city on a trail that doesn’t quite add up.
Elsewhere, motorcycle officers PC Rajiv Bailey and PC Deforest Evans, backed up by PC Jason Ming, stop a visiting rider whose borrowed bike raises red flags. Multiple offences come to light, and the outcome leaves the visitor facing a long list of fines and a long walk home. Later, the officers' unexpected goodwill sees the man's luck changing.
Out on the water, Coastguard Officer Hugo Benziger patrols with Private Edward Richardson and Corporal Gary Dowling Jr as holiday boat traffic fills the channels. Missing safety gear, busy raft-ups and high winds and rain keep the team alert, and even a lighthearted mishap doesn’t slow the patrol for long.
