A serious bike crash halts rush hour traffic, coastguards respond to reports of swimmers struggling in strong currents, recruits face strict drill checks, and travellers deal with lost luggage.
PCs Holly Lavigne-Smith and Krislyn Lambert respond to a serious motorbike crash. With an injured tourist receiving care from emergency services and no obvious cause immediately clear, the officers are left to work out from witnesses if anyone is to blame.
Out on the water, Coastguard Corporal Quentin Burgess and Private Matthew Stephens are keeping a careful eye on some flashy boats returning from an international fishing tournament when a report of swimmers caught in a strong current calls them into action.
At the police training school, the new recruits are being put their paces by Acting Sergeant Peter-Paul Taylor. After a day of tough physical training, its drill inspection for new recruits, and they soon discover it's the small details make a big difference. For trainees including twins Nasojay and Nasojah Hall and former swimmer Madelyn Moore, it’s another step towards the challenges that lie ahead.
When armed-response officer PC Jonathan 'Woody' Wood finishes his shift, he’s finally heading off on holiday. Meeting his fiancee Daniela at the airport should be the start of a celebration, but an unexpected travel hiccup means the pair must think fast before their journey can continue.
