It's not a place for posh grub, but it's located right on the square in the centre of town, has a great menu and drinks are reasonably cheap. Great for a mid-shop lunch and drink.

A more expensive choice, but always full of students and has a great atmosphere. Serves lots, but burgers are huge and delicious! Located in the Cornerhouse, it's great for being a hop away from the cinema, bars and clubs.

A small restaurant that serves fabulous Italian food and isn't terribly expensive. Located just off Angel Row, it's close to the centre and the nightlife. Great for dates or a more laid back atmosphere for taking friends.

A fun restaurant, located on the same retail park as the Showcase Cinema, Smilin' Sams arcade house, Megabowl and ISIS nightclub, so if you really want to make a night of it, or fancy a meal after a cinema trip. F&B's has a great choice of pizzas and pastas and plays great music. There is also a Frankie & Benny's situated in town on Upper Parliament Street.

The best curry joint in Nottingham. Great curry at great prices. Located just up from Mode nightclub. It's open until very late and is great for a midnight curry.
