Meet the animals predicting who will win the World Cup

Kenya and Ashanti the elephants are having a think about who they think will win the World Cup 2026

Over the years, we've had octopuses, penguins and donkeys making World Cup predictions, and now we have a whole zoo!
Well, sort of. Animals at Guadalajara Zoo in Mexico have been given objects to play with that are decorated with different countries who have teams competing in the tournament.
Then the things they choose to sniff or kick around are seen to predict who will win each game.
We'll leave it up to you to decide how reliable they are.

Starting off strong, we have Chencha the 39-year-old gorilla, who seems pretty certain that Uruguay will beat Spain on 27 June.

Gorilla pal Faustina however is backing Spain, and Chencha seems to have had a bit of a strop about it.

Muluk, a 14-year-old puma, is putting his bets on the Czech Republic in their match against South Korea.
Well, that, or he just likes the meat attached to the cardboard cut out.
Impossible to know for sure.

These two capybaras think the co-hosts Mexico could go all the way.

Joel the baby five-month-old giraffe isn't up for predictions yet - he just wants a kickabout.

And older giraffe Juana was more interested in having a bit of a snack.
