Series Overview Charlie delivers newly widowed Duffy's baby boy at home. Charlie meets Jan at a dating agency. He later discovers she's Holby's new Chief Exec! Josh is cleared of dangerous driving.Duffy returns to work, unhappy with the changes Colette has made in her absence.Jan suspends Max for ordering methadone for a patient.The staff get dressed up for Halloween...  Charlie arranges a surprise ceremony at the hospital chapel for Josh and Colette to get married... Policewoman Rachel is mugged and dies. Patrick, who she'd been having an affair with, is distraught. He also learns she was carrying his child. Rachel's husband, Greg, learns of the affair and attacks him... Lara stays by Patrick's bedside as he recuperates. They later start dating... Jack and Nikki also start dating. Jason sends Chloe a plane ticket to America where she heads off to make a new life with him. Nikki finds a lump in Jack's testicles. He later has an operation.Fin and Comfort grow closer though she is married. Patrick and Lara get engaged, but he dies from internal bleeding suffered in a motorway accident earlier in the day...
