Series Overview
Charlie recuperates after suffering a pulmonary embolism. Charlie confides in Duffy that Baz is moving to Canada permanently and will eventually come back for Louis. When an article is published in the local paper claiming a nurse (Adam) has AIDS, Adam quits. He later marries Reuben... 
Duffy's annoyed that husband, Andrew will be working in A&E. Duffy celebrates her 40th birthday. The staff arrange a surprise party. Duffy discovers she's pregnant but Andrew is unhappy about it. Barney ends up in a fight in a club when he sees two men trying to spike Chloe's drinks. He's arrested. Andrew reacts badly to the news that Duffy is pregnant. Patrick and Holly seek refuge in a barn from the snow at Christmas. Patrick tries to kiss Holly but she backs off. Spencer rescues Barney from drowning in a hole outside A&E. Spencer and Patrick are held at gunpoint on a boat and rescued by Holly. Andrew and Duffy argue about her pregnancy, she later collapses in the hospital toilets. Andrew comes to terms with the impending birth. Charlie considers taking court action to get full time custody of Louis but fears he could miss out on seeing him altogether. Max and Amanda start dating. Holly's mysterious stalker increasingly concerns her when he starts making calls and has been inside her car and house. Dan discovers Tom is Holly's stalker. When he confronts Tom, Dan is drugged. Josh and Colette start seeing each other. Barney and Chloe have a one night stand but later decide to stay as friends. Colette's estranged daughter, Natalie turns up at the department. They have a frosty reunion. Tom kidnaps Holly... Andrew comes across Tom but is pushed down some steps and dies.. Dan gives chase to Tom and from an upstairs balcony, Tom falls to his death. Patrick comes to Holly's aid.Charlie is forced to tell a heavily pregnant Duffy of her husband's death.
