Locum SHO Heather cheats on Dillon with Simon. Lara is sent to prison when the court returns a guilty verdict for the manslaughter of David Collier...
Colette confides in Simon about her marriage problems with Josh. Roxy dumps baby Nicole in a shop's baby changing room overnight. She is later suspended. Anna and Harry share an illicit kiss. Lara is released after Melanie Collier provides more evidence at her court appeal. Jack starts working for his Dad on the side.During an eventful Christmas party, Colette sleeps with Simon, unbeknown that her husband Josh has just escaped a car explosion outside A&E.Duffy starts seeing Ryan. She later accepts his marriage proposal. Colette ends her marriage to Josh.Simon starts dating Jane, who he later discovers is an escort.Jack helps his father in a robbery.Dillon and Roxy start dating.Duffy quits her job but returns as an agency nurse when she discovers Ryan has run off with all her money.Jack and Eddie go on the run in fear that the robbery will catch up with them. Bex is brought in to replace Jack on reception. Colette discovers she is pregnant.Tony and Ben start dating. Ben's ex stirs up trouble leading to a fight where Tony is injured. He needs a kidney transplant. Anna discovers that Merlin, the doctor she had been seeing, is her half brother. Selena arrives to carry out a drugs trial in the department. While Harry is dining with Selena, Tally - who he promised a driving lesson - goes out with her mother, Beth, instead. However the car crashes and Beth dies. Jane has a brain tumour. She dumps a devastated Simon.Jack returns to Holby and Eddie offers to give Tony his kidney. After the operation, Eddie's condition worsens and he dies.Ryan returns to see Duffy, admitting he was a fraud. He begs her forgiveness. They decide to leave Holby for New Zealand.Bex is shocked to discover the new paramedic is her ex-husband, Luke. Josh finds out the baby Colette is carrying is not his but Simon's.Jack proposes to Nikki and she accepts.Colette suffers a miscarriage and leaves.Vinnay turns up to see Jack, saying his father owed him a large sum of money and demands it back.Josh reports Simon to Harry for negligence when a young boy dies.On Jack and Nikki's wedding day; Dillon and Bex get intimate...
Nikki is kidnapped and Dillon is shot by Vinnay and his henchman... Jack heads to rescue Nikki from a boat. A boat explosion follows - Nikki manages to escape but Jack is left for dead... The Patients
