Africa Kicks: in search of the birthplace of Ghanaian football

The BBC's Africa Kicks bus is making its way across West Africa in the build-up to the Football World Cup.

The team is travelling 1,200km through five countries in 10 days, countries from which many of the continent's most famous footballers have emerged.

The fourth stop for the team was the town of Cape Coast in Ghana.

Famous for being one of the major slave ports in West Africa it is also where first ever football match played by Ghanaians took place.

The BBC's Peter Okwoche went to find this historic patch of land.
